NEW AUDIO: Easy Mo Bee on the Wheels

----------------------------------------------------------------------

A week after welcoming Kool DJ Red Alert to our studios we were once again in the presence of a legend last Saturday, when Easy Mo Bee came through to grace the turntables. We did a nice little interview that I'll get up soon, but for now here are 50 minutes of Mo Bee's favorite breaks:

And don't forget there are dozens of other mixes on our Radio Show page. They are lonely and want your company.

Not only is this a banging set, it's also educational.

After listening to Mo Bee's set, I have come to the conclusion that everything in rap music is based on a sample. It begins and ends with a sample.

Thank you for posting this link.

Hot ish!

Damn, this is nice.
Can we get an mp3 tho!?

Posted by: David at March 4, 2004 1:21 PM

yo this was the greatest radio set i've ever heard but i must ask if we can get it mp3?

Posted by: Vilens at March 4, 2004 4:33 PM

I don't have the server space for that, but if you know someone who does, let me know!

Posted by: jay smooth at March 4, 2004 4:38 PM

i'll probably offer it as a premium in the next fundraising drive, at the very least

Posted by: jay smooth at March 4, 2004 4:38 PM

Word.
Make them pay for this Jay.
You can find quality hip-hop like this on itunes.

Set it up and call it jtunes -- the real hot ish.

But this set right here is on some truly great hip-hop moment-type ish.

Mad props. Thank you. And ish. (Ha! Ha!)

From a random outside observer who just started reading hip hop blogs a few months ago and loves good music, that schit is nice.

I love sets like that, Monks Dream was great for some even crazier education like that.

THANK YOU MR. J SMOOTH!!!!!!!

This file of EASY MOE BEE is like paying homage to AFRIKA BAMBATTA, FLASH and BRUICE B.

I remember riding back home through East New York with my family after visit my great aunt, and happened to tune into your radio show where i heard classic's like THE DISSMASTERS "PART TIME SUCKERS"...and UMC's "BLUE CHEESE" , you always did something to set you apart from the KISS and BLS commercial stations, and this set by EASY MOE BEE proves this, gotdamn what a record collection proves to everybody that HIP HOP is the MOST ECLECTIC CREATIVE MUSIC GENRE OUTTHERE!!!!!!!!!!

Man, this is tight. I was happy to meet the man here in Portland, OR!! Yes, Portland, OR for Hip Hop appreciation week. It was such a blessing to have a true pioneer grace our city. It don't get much better than that.
