March 15, 2005Malt Liquor: Apparently Not the Breakfast of ChampionsObviously, Cristal and other high end drinks long ago replaced malt liquor as the rapper's preferred product placement. But I wonder how much that has affected the drinking habits of their audience, since most of us can't afford $1000 bottles? Malt Liquor Favored By Homeless, Unemployed DrinkersPosted by jsmooth995 at March 15, 2005 7:40 PM | TrackBack Comments
I posted about malt liquor parodies last week. See: Malt Liquor Parodies
"Rap artists have been popular images in malt-liquor advertising, and 'gangsta' rap performers portray malt liquor as a sign of masculinity." Don't know if I believe that. Rappers make malt liquor look very hood. If you want to be fly you drink cris. The real reason people drink it is because it's cheap and gets you drunk easily. Don't bring rap into that. Posted by: Hashim at March 15, 2005 10:43 PM This article forgot to mention people still paying their college loans. We, er... I mean they drink malt liquor too. Big ups to O.E. and to Minnesota. Holla! 1 more thing. If you haven't tried Sparx yet, that is about to blow all competition away. $1.50 combination of redbull and 6% alcohol in 14 ounces. If you can get past the fact that it sort of looks and feels like you are drinking a battery, its produces an excellent effect. But strangely your teeth will hurt in the morning. Even with the non-sugar version. Strange.
