Wow I gotta admit, I didn't care much for Game because The Documentary was mediocre to me and his constant name dropping was annoying. But that "300 Bars and Running" is HOT, he really takes it to everyone in G-Unit. His little funny comments do hold some revealing things because 50 Cent in concerte is horrible and Interscope sometime uses machines to clean up his sloppy vocals. All in all it's a great diss track it's not really a "freestyle" but even if it's written it's REALLY good.

The reason why I value the “300 Bars” track so much is because The Game is sort of paying homage to some of the most talented and skilled rappers and producers of our past and present. He accomplishes this by utilizing samples from rappers of a broad spectrum such as conscientious rapper KRS-1 “Blueprint” , New York Thugs turn rappers Mobb Deep “Shook Ones pt.II” and west coast gangsters Tupac and Dr. Dre collaboration “California Love” to name a few. Not only were the lyrics for these songs great but the beats were well engineered as well. Also, even though this track is disrespecting Fifty Cent (for whom I am not a fan of) who is from N.Y. and with the game being from California; I could say that this could inspire a whole new west coast east coast rivalry from the days of Tupac and Biggie. The fact of the matter is that I think that people from N.Y. do not even care too much for Fifty Cent for that to happen. In closing, for freestyle it sure sounds well put together, almost like it was written before hand (there’s something to think about). The flow of the track is phenomenal though. The metaphoric blends of the verses are excellent. When an individual freestyles and it comes across sounding like it was written, that is a sign of an MC with skills i.e. Rakim, Eminem, L.L. Cool J. I am not saying The Game is on these guys level but if this track is a sign of what is yet to come then he has the potential to be. He really impressed me with this track.
