maybe I'm wrong for saying this but I'm going to say it. How can immigrants get rights?! I'm really really curious about that. I consider myself an open minded cat...but tell me any country that would open their arms to immigrants and then we can discuss about giving immigrants rights. Would Japan, Germany, or Italy do this?! From what I've seen from personal experiences it's no. It's not a no, but a no and get your ass back to where you are from no. But I'm posting this up because I need some opinions from people that uses this blog. If people have valid information then I might be persuaded to see another point of view...this is what blogs are for right?! Posted by: Jamal at April 12, 2006 8:44 PM um...yea, you're quite wrong. see my dad is an immigrant, but he's been a citizen of this country for over two decades now. and do you mean to tell me that he, a citizen, should not be entitled equal rights to that of any other citizen? i think you don't have a clear understanding of the term 'immigrant'... and actually the US is THE toughest country in the world to obtain visas or citizenship to, especially if you're not white. i'm not gonna get into whether or not it should be that way; i'm just throwing that out there. Posted by: sanju at April 13, 2006 2:58 AM Love this site...! Lots of open minded folks here who can see past all the propaganda. And great %&*@# posts to begin with. A subject incredibly close to my heart. There's one reason I'm happy for all these ignorant protests...its visibility to a big problem that's not getting enough attention. - "La Raza" I'm sorry but RACISM is racism. - immigrants who work for their Citizenship are probably a lot more pissed than any of us born with it. -And what is this Mexico owns the South West BULL SHIT?! -If dozens of fence hoppers were shitting in your lawn and littering and startling your chidren and animals everynite you might just be more than annoyed-whoever.whereever. -Mark my words within 5 years the south west is going to look like Kosovo and America's gon'na be shocked because of the media black outs they won't see it coming. -Yo if the third world is so &(*%@# great stay there, don't bring it here. -Mexico vs. America...Actually Russians and Mongolians journeyed to California centuries before Spaniards raped the land. If everyone looked at the land grants the argument would be squashed because the crowns of Spain and Europe made straight deals with eachother (sure it f'd all of us). Let alone the fact that these idiot Spaniards (yes, Fox) and Limies (yes, Bush) are fighting over land "belonging" to Mojave and Ute and Hopi and Navajo...And Ant People, ANT PEOPLE? Wow. Yeah. Need I mention the Nephilim or the Egyptian tombs found in Death Valley in the 1940s? Nahhhhhhhh. And thats all relative, (Yawn) Prince of Spain owns half of Colorado. China owns most of our national parks and landmarks...lets go back to sleep now...aaayye-yah-yah-yah-aaaye-yah-yah-yah. Oh and one more thing: Posted by: CitiZEN EMily at April 13, 2006 4:21 AM a few things... the third world is not "fuckin great" and that's WHY they come here. yo Emily: this isn't about who owns the land. sure, a lot of these immigrants are here illegally - somewhere around 20million. but its not right to just send them back to where they came from, especially because they probably would not have been offered visas if they went about migrating here legally. a lot of these people come here starving and jobless, and instead of helping these people out, congress is in favor of making it harder for them. and i don't know of any immigrants who "work for their citizenship" that are "pissed off" at the immigrants at these rallies. Posted by: sanju at April 13, 2006 6:28 PM Com'on , what tha fuck is these illegal mexicans doin now, Mexicans can neva follow tha damn rules, itz easy STAY OUT OF AMERICA!!. Shit, dem tacos bells, will do anything to get in the USA, I dont now how in tha world, they get here so easly, tha U.S. border patrol aint doin they job apparently, Just snipe tha immigrants and get it over wit. Posted by: jay r at April 16, 2006 3:19 PM you're joking, right? Posted by: sanju at April 17, 2006 1:27 AM Sanju...Yesssssyesssss, of course! MORE SLAVES! Like in the south west where a quarter of the inmates are "refugees" from Mexico, talk to them about freedom. Oh, you don't KNOW any of them. I can hear that sick bitch groveling over all the immigrants flooding into his country...ready to force their kids into foster care, ready to force them into the system, use them in prison and or the military, vaccinate them, use them to drive down wages, poison them, tag them , track them, seperate them from their vibrant God and Family oriented culture...DAMMIT did you not hear the part where I mentioned that I'm from the south west? Where do you think our culture COMES from? HISTORY REPEATS SANJU DAMMIT! yo Sanju if you're gon'na call me out be ready. Ahhhh, and I see you're putting words into my mouth because you can't validly combat my actual points. Ask yourself why these rallies aren't being busted up by cops in riot gear. Ask yourself why there aren't teenagers in black masks running around vandalizing everything in site to make the demonstrators look bad. If Bush didn't want these folks here they'd be tear-gassed like the rest of us... If Bush supports it, its bad. Get it? And I don't mean what the propaganda or polls say he supports I mean what his actions and records actually prove. OH and their protests wouldn't get any media attention either. The media won't give RNC or 911 protectors coverage but they will cover illegal immigrants? WHY "Who stands to gain," Sanju? Posted by: CitiZEN EMily at April 17, 2006 3:48 AM If they were here legally I could see giving them rights. However the main word is illegal. If you are illegal how do you get rights. Pay taxes like other Americans do. Stop sending your money home to "your country:. Your country wouldn't let us send money to our country. Pay into a system and maybe you could get something out of this country. when you protest for rights why are you carrying your country's flag and not the flag of the USA. You want the benefits of being American without being American. Speak the language of the country (English.) But it is so convient to "Speak No English" when your are in trouble. After you consider these things and decide that you truly want to be American that's when we should give you the rights of fellow Americans. Posted by: republican1 at April 20, 2006 9:58 AM i'm trying real hard to understand your stance, emily(no sarcasm intended). so correct me if i'm wrong: you're saying bush wants these illegal immigrants here and thats why these riots haven't been stomped out. i'm gonna have to disagree. gwbush is one of the most racist personalities i can think of. but you're saying that he doesn't really care about these people (agreed there) and he sees some way of using these people. i don't see how. you outlined it a bit, but the expenses the immigrants present outweigh anything bush stands to gain from them. they (excuse me for generalizing here) come here with nothing, therefore they have nothing to offer this economy. i'll say again: true, they are ILLEGAL immigrants. but look past that, and see the reason why they're here in the first place. think hard about it, and you'll realize that the problem starts with the US, and our racist, hard-assed foreign policy. have you got any idea how hard it is for a person trying to emigrate from the third world. nobody wants you. and the US is the world's largest eceonomy, but all we do is spend money on killing people and electing people. just a little bit of that green could go a long way if we admitted more people into this country, shared a little bit. as far as i'm concerned, it doesn't really make a difference where you're from. south west, north east - whatever, it doesn't change what's going on and not going on. in your first post you said something about 'fence hoppers shitting on lawns'. this kind of generalizing is terrible. it leads to widespread stereotypes - similar to the kind a lot of cops and white people have towards african-americans. "history repeats" - true THAT. We cant even take care of our elderly and our poor, and yet illegals have the gaul to protest for rights?? Haven't you forgotten that these immigrants condone animal torture such as bullfights and cock fights (gambling). The Democrats of this country who want to give 'diginity' to a individuals who violate laws??
