Is This Thing On?

I'm out of town for a few months on a secret mission, but I've got a minute now to dip back in here. Did I miss anything important in the last month? Is there anything meaningful left to talk about in the world, or is blogging now solely a tool for randomly antagonizing your peers and/or minor celebrities?

You DEFINITELY missed the 88 vs. 91 battle on your station.

Were you there that night?

I don't know? They kept saying you were wandering around.
but yo that was one for the record books.

88 took it but the brother who was hosting said it was a tie.

oh,
and er'rybody's fav subject has kinda had some closure (the east coast vs. the south).

click the rick ross link at the top and see for yourself.

we had to war in the other forum ("as previously stated")
but i think we agreed on some things for the future and for the better.

judging by the plethra of comments, i'm guessing the latter is the case.

Pitbull made an anti-Castro song mostly in spanish, its posted on hiphopgame.

I've waited for some political hip hop for years, and what do I get? Some right-wing fanatical shit. There is so much wrong with the politics of that anti-castro community in Miami, but to have a 'rapper' champion them, is very very saddening.

Yeah it sure was a classic.

At the end they were like "pick song for your era."

So one dude played Ain't no Halfsteppin.

I wish I could go back in time and get back on the live forum that you guys had running.

that was my first time ever being online and listening at the same time.
fun as shit
we are definitely in the year 2000 (cue conan o'brien singing)
if only we could get flying cars

but yo i wish i coulda warned the other dude to play step to the rear.

but he played one of the dopest remixes ever: shut down pete rock remix.

didn't crush ain't no halfsteppin but dope nonetheless

you guys got to do the rematch before you go to different years.

88 vs. 91 part II

and give us like an advance one day notice or something.

Thanks,

Out
