A little addendum to the previous rant..

Btw, any aspiring filmmakers/producers/editors/cameramen (camerapeople?), I will probably be looking for interns/assistant producers soon..

I just watched this and it referenced the other one about truth, poets and money.

So I watched that.

And maybe I shoulda been realized this but...

"You's a smart muvafucka." - Jules Winfield

Guess I was sleeping before.

I see where you are coming from with this rant. Hopefully as this thing grows you can open some minds and forums.

Hate it when people associated with Hip-Hop talk in character.
Totally places a ceiling on rapping about something honestly and directly.

I agree with a lotta of the stuff you said here.

Game.

Game recognize game.

(tense misuse considered so technically the phrase should be game recognizes game. but that just don't sound right)

I just read it Trusouth. If you want you can cut and paste this over there.

In short -- and obviously -- that article was an example of religious fanticism.

In detail:

For one to accept that "Hip-Hop is the tool of Satan" one must whole heartedly believe that a mythological character called Satan exists.

Dig me?

Now for people who get down like that, this article was targeted to them.

But practical sensibilties kinda bar modern folk from seeing things in a literal Satan/God in Heaven type of light.

The Game:

In talent representation - say agent, manager, attorney - when one is pursuing new business, the first order of the day is to trash the potential talent's current reps.

In all instituitionalized religion, the primary goal is to attract new "fish" or converts.

Or talent.

So you gotta trash whatever they are doing if it ain't your twist.

If a muvafucka crossin the street without your religion in mind. Then he's crossin the street wrong.

Keeping this in mind you can kinda decode the article and pick it apart.

Also note that whoever the guy who posted the article is, he's down with the message.
That's why he tried to give it some shine.

It might help to remeber that circular reasoning invalidates an argument.

You cain't say the Bible is right because it says so...in the Bible.

That proves nothing.

Truth does not require an explanation. Lies do.
