Frank Lucas and Nicky Barnes Backing Giuliani For President

Nice to see that Rudy Giuliani has the 1970s Harlem drug lord constituency behind him. Hillary's still hoping for that Alpo endorsement though.

I first read about the Frank Lucas and Nicky Barnes interview on www.globalgrind.com. Its kinda weird that they were endorsing presidential candidates in between their talk of selling drugs and snitching, but it was entertaining. I'm looking forward to see how they are portrayed in "American Gangster."

What ish! Neither of them "endorsed" Giuliani for anything (I have the actual magazine in my hand). When asked about Giuliani running for president, Nicky says, he "would make a good president because he's a principled guy" and Frank Lucas says, "When Giuliani tells you something, he means it, but I don't think we're ready for an Italian president. I don't think we're ready for a black president. I don't think we're ready for a woman president, but I tell you right now: I think Hillary Clinton will win this thing hands down." and then Nicky says, "Hillary will be the next president.". That's the quote. You guys should get your facts straight.

Princess Dani: Apparently you didn't click the link, which leads to the actual videotape of that conversation from the magazine. Watch the clip and apply the dictionary definition of endorse: "to express support or approval of publicly and definitely."

I am one of those individuals who like to keep an open mind..so many people say the country is not ready for a "female president" an "African American President." Who would believe Nelson Mandela would serve 27 years in prison in aparthied South Africa, was released from prison and became the President of South Africa. The who point I am making is "change is the law of nature." Let's keep all options open...I believe that just as much as the Civil Rights Movement brought about major changes in this country; the tide is turning. Please do not judge the American populace by the conservatives...you will be surprised how many individuals will vote for a woman or an African American for President. One way to tell is to see what happens next September. May the best man, woman win, and may be unite behind our duly elected president.
