June 10, 2008Nas "Be A Nigger Too" Lyrics, Video (Official)Rik Cordero's official video for Nas "Be A Nigger Too," and lyrics below. I like the song a little better after giving it some time, and Cordero's vid is solid as usual. Nas "Be A Nigger Too" Lyrics Turn your radios up No slacking, no begging, no asking, no fasting

Posted by: nxtlvl at June 13, 2008 1:26 AM Yo, i dont think Nas dont want u to say i wanna be a N after hearing thes song i think he want u to realize how fucked up it is...noticed he said "They like to strangle niggers, blaming niggers, shooting niggers, hanging niggers, Posted by: Da best presence at June 13, 2008 1:33 AM Yo, i dont think Nas dont want u to say i wanna be a N after hearing thes song i think he want u to realize how fucked up it is...noticed he said "They like to strangle niggers, blaming niggers, shooting niggers, hanging niggers, Posted by: Da best presence at June 13, 2008 1:33 AM Actually, I think he DOES want you to identify with being a N... because the potential for being a martyr in the cause of being what makes society strong is a focal point in his song and the video. I'm not sure if I buy the argument of changing the meaning of N, but I think he's taking ownership of all the word has and can represent and is trying to showcase that at the end of the day, it's unattractive yet coveted. deep huh? Posted by: Dat Boi Tony at June 13, 2008 9:48 PM This song has deep meaning like most of Nas' songs. The way the song speaks to me is that no matter what color you are we all got a little N****r inside of us. Today the word is used too much by every race of people out there. Often times white suburban kids will cop a hip hop album and try to talk street cause artist is and they make an ass out of themselves. To me being a N****r isn't just being black, it's a life style. I'm sure Obama never considered himself a N****r, just a black man. It's sad to still see racism in the world today and this song helps put it into context that no matter what you look like we are all the same, N****rs! Posted by: pa's finest at June 17, 2008 2:46 PM oh man i like an respect it tupac an nas r da best ...thats right we all niggaz...i wanna add somthing obama will never be da comin Usa president it is a American film ( the woman and the black man ) but no one but macin ...respect fo all ma niggaz Posted by: osama at June 17, 2008 5:56 PM We all niggaz we all share the same shit we all stugglin ...respect fo ma nigga nas ...tupac & nas r da best num.1 n da rap list.... Posted by: osama at June 17, 2008 6:00 PM What is the message behind this song???? Better yet is there a message? That's why Nas is my favorite rapper, he makes you think....but I really wonder if there is some type of message he is tryin convey through this song, or is he just simply rapping. If there is a message it's more obvious in the first verse, the second verse is Nas just be "Nasty Nas" Posted by: Jacob at June 18, 2008 5:00 PM i'm trying to change the everday meaning of nigger. it is way overused as a bad word and im sick of all these fakes using it like that. hopefully the bad things associated with the word "nigger" will be phased out of society. Posted by: Nas at July 1, 2008 3:57 AM and it doesnt matter what u look like or called (kike, spic, guinea, chink) we are all humans Posted by: Nas at July 1, 2008 4:00 AM NAS you have done it again. No matter how much the "n" word doesn't want to be heard it's your lyrics like you said with your interview with Toure. No one wants to hear the truth when it is spoken. It's suppose to be hush hush. No moree. Keep speaking the truth NAS.It will all come out one day of who is the chosen people. Will you ever make another video with your father. I loved the 1 u 2 made together. Keep up the good work and may god bless you. Happy 4th Lady Di Posted by: Diann R Pennick at July 4, 2008 2:14 PM It's a powerful song, and if ya'll support it, and understand it, ya'll shouldn't be afraid to talk as it does, when sayin nigga. I think he's exposes the selected media we put up with, and he identifies the numerous levels of fraud. He speaks of the very real, and still (unfortunantly) living hatred of racism, and invites you to stand against it. Sadly I haven't heard this, but once on the radio, and it was just a clip at late night. I don' think people are ready for how real Nas is tellin it. And I love the part bout holdin the Grand Dragon's head in his hand. It'd be nice to see that. This song is 10/10. Thanks Nas for speakin fa ya peeps.
