September 1, 2008Vlogging is StupidJust a station announcement before we return to regular Ill Doctrine programming. Conversate is totally a word, by the way. Like I said in the video, please hit me back with ideas, comments, stuff you disagreed with in some other video.. here or at Ill Doctrine or on twitter or wherever. And if you can do it in a video response that's even better! Posted by jsmooth995 at September 1, 2008 3:22 AMComments
I thought you had pushed Lil H8ter into and corner and stomped him out? Topic: regional hip hop love/hate vs regional hip hop listening Example. Me being born and raised in the South, I tend to enjoy most all times of hip hop much less music due to not being immersed in the culture from a coastal bias. I lean closer to the East Coast when it comes down to it. I fully accept that but at the same time I really have an affinity for the West Coast style. But I also have love for Miami Bass and DC go-go and all the other little flavors that are out and about. I find it odd having lived in NYC for a decade now (wow -- I was on a 3 and out policy when I moved up here) that I recognize my bias getting more and more pronounced for the East Coast but not so much that I can't listen to other types of music. **Take that Lil' H8ter** Posted by: Belve at September 1, 2008 5:40 AM I thought you had pushed Lil H8ter into and corner and stomped him out? I'd love to hear you respond to the RNC this week. They seem to be gearing up to make brownie points off a possible hurricane disaster in the South. It's like they want people to suffer so they can pretend that this time they really care. It would also be cool if you talked about some of the best shows you've seen. If you've been active in the hip hop community in New York since the '80s you must have seen some amazing shows. Vlogs are great! Send more.
