Kelis' Milkshake Remix
I like Kelis, and still rock "Young Fresh and New" on the regular, but asking her to rap on the remix of Milkshake was a bad idea. When her verse came on I thought "why are The Clipse ghostwriting for JJ Fad now?"

actually it was pharrell who wrote Kelis' rhyme, accd to kelis. I kinda like it, in the same way that I like JJFad, Oaktown 357 and the Cookie Crew from way back when. Fun rap. (by the way, I haven;t had a chance to read the source story but I;m especially interested, of course. (Could it have been all so simple then...)

pharrell and kelis sound pretty old skoolish wackish on the joint - i do like what they did to the beat though.
I was digging it, without even thinking about what they were saying or what they sounded like.
that's a shame though, b/c that's how the best music gets to be the best. none of us are really paying attention or asking for quality.
