BTW, I figured out the MT error listed in my last post was caused by a link to Outkast's new video, as .mov file.. once I took that link out of this post everything returned to normal. Is there some reason why linking to a very large file would cause Movable Type to choke on a new post? Or is MT just sick of Outkast?

I think "someone" got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning.
The article doesn't make Lasn's purpose clear at all.. that many neocons are jewish is hardly a newsflash, it's already become a joke for conservative columnists to say that neocon is a code word for Jewish. After his misleading title "why won't anyone say they are jewish" Lasn even admits "a lot of ink has been spilled" on this topic already. So what is the purpose of compiling a checklist, an activity that has so much baggage attached to it, other than to antagonize and press people's buttons for attention?

That article just degrades the level of dialogue. Its not arguing anything it all, nor does it have any sort of purpose other than to, as jay said, push people's buttons.
I'm not a fan of adbusters...they really preach to the converted.
If you want to start a dialogue w/ conservatives regarding israel, you can't do it with this sort of deceptive smearing.

The fact that many neocons are jewish was not in dispute, so what purpose is served by making such a show out of compiling a list and checking off names? Does determining that the top neocons are 50% Jewish rather than 40% or 60% enable us to counter their agenda more effectively? If so please tell me how.
As far as I can see this serves no purpose whatsoever, other than being inflammatory for its own sake. Which is damn near all Kalle Lasn has ever been about.
He was trolling, and I shouldn't even have given him this much attention for it.
