I don't usually post non-stories like this, but there's one sentence in here I can't resist:

Scuffle erupts during surprise 50 Cent appearance
[Blah blah blah, shoving match at a concert, probably wouldn't be "news" if there was no rapper involved]

Security guards had frisked the rapper and his entourage behind the stage; the rapper was wearing a Gucci holster, but the weapon it held fired only rubber pellets, Barrasso said.

[Blah blah someone got shot in the same neighborhood as the concert, and even though there's no evidence it's related to the show we will toss it in because as every journalist knows, any crime that occurs within a 5 mile radius of a rapper is "rap-related"]

Okay nevermind the bollocks, where can I buy one of these holsters?? Nothing says "keeping it real" like a Gucci Rubber Pellet Gun Holster.

Look, all jokes aside - I'd rather be surrounded by a world of rubber pellets that bruise the fuck out of you instead of metal slugs that kill you.

The Gucci holster is pretty lame, but at least he's not running around trying to kill people. And that's keeping it real.

What's lame is that 50 Cent really doesn't need a pellet gun. He has bodyguards that does the fighting for him.

And on the really real, 50 better be careful with who he picks fights with. Because one day he is going to bump into someone who has a real gun with real bullets.

That story makes it sound to me like he was frisked immediately after he left the stage and the gun was a part of his on-stage ensemble.

Anyway, 50 can't legally carry a real handgun. Should we really be making fun of him? I think we should just be happy that he didn't get locked up. Too many dudes are locked up on these gun charges.

I don't agree. Too many rappers, as it is get caught up in their image and worry about how the public percieves them. 50 has a greater responsibility to those around him, including his son, than to those who would poke fun at him for NOT carrying an illegal weapon which could get him locked up (like Yayo). We already know that 50's been through some real sh*t. Do we really need him to prove it constantly. We know half the lyrics rappers spit aren't meant to be taken literally anyways.

Would you expect a WWE wrestler to walk around with a steel chair in his hand?
