thats just par for the course in my opinion. the consolation is media isn't always that important. its annoying though when people think just because a white man and a woman of color get it on in a movie, its always about tolerance. in my opinion tolerance for inter-racial relationships will be a standard fact in this country when a man of color and a woman who happens to be white can get it on, because white men don't really have a problem with getting it on with women of color so i don't think thats really a "breakthrough" on racial relations.

The media is always stereotyping Black men and making them scapegoats.

Interracial relationships are not at all what they are cracked up to be within an oppressive society. They do not bring races together. They absorb more races into the white race, or provide an escape for successful Black sellouts and others who are not white into the white race. Notice that the least of the white race want to get with the best of the Black race. Notice that interracial relations created a caste system (social pyramid) in the U.S. The closer to white you are, the more privileged you are. The further you are, the more structural discrimination you face. White men have always felt a desire to marry white women and to have other women as their mistresses. The fact that they have a Black or Asian mistress doesn�t make them any less racist. Although they see all women as objects at their disposal, they see white women as the most valuable objects. Notice that men are the initiators in relationships in most movies except for when the man is white and the woman is not. Only then, the woman is often throwing it at the man. Notice that white men are the only group of men that no one holds up standards for. The oldest ugliest white man in NY you will see with a young Asian woman on his arm or groping a strange Black woman on the train without her protest.
