In a past interview, he even said that the song he likes the least on the album is the one the record execs want as the single. Can't fault him there-- if it weren't for the fact that the rest of his albums are good, he would've become Vanilla Ice a long time ago. Having said that, I have come to expect his videos and singles to suck, and they do. If the rest of the album sucks this bad, then he's "lost it". As Em matured, so did his songs, from being the voilent youngster to the now more responsible adult-like individual he is at present. If you ask me, Eminem has very much overturned the hip hop industry, even being the most common name to pop up when asked to name a rapper. We all know Em's rather dark side as he has displayed on tracks such as "kill you", "The Way I Am", "Kim", "Amityville" and still much more (in fact, my current favourite is "Go To Sleep" which i just recently received) but we cannot forget this man does have a sense of humour, whether to your appeal or not, he describes his taste as warped. Nevertheless i enjoyed his new single, Just Lose It. Interesting, this man sold over millions of copies of his albums in less than a week, making him the fastest selling rap artist according to the guiness book of world records. The man who managed to reach into the minds of millions of not only young americans but young teenagers all over the world. Eminem to me is a role model. If you would read up on his history during his high school years youd see he was a completely different character to what he is now.
