Game, Jay-Z at Summer Jam
A couple of questions about this Summer Jam report:
1. Did Game really throw his gold chain into the crowd? As many people as I've seen trampled for a towel or a tamborine, tossing one of those diamond-infested monstrosities sounds kinda dangerous. Maybe it was just another counterfeit piece from Jacob..
2. What exactly is a "doormat audience"? Is the writer suggesting that anyone who pays to see this show must have self-esteem issues, and needs help from Dr. Phil to hold out for a show that will treat them right?

Yeah, I was wondering what "doormat audience" was myself. They said after Kanye, Common, and Kweli went on that Jigga roused the "doormat crowd". Someone shed some light here.

I suspect it's a typo and they meant "dormant" (because of the context).

Well, since the story is from AllHipHop.com, expect some typos.
In this case, it looks like it should have been dormant instead of doormat. Although I'm assuming that the writer was trying to describe the audience as "doormats" -- you know, sitting their motionless and watching the show. It's a bad turn of a phrase to describe a motionless (and probably emotionless) crowd, but the editor should have seen that and corrected it.
I'm not going to trash AllHipHop because I know the site's founder/editor and he's really a cool dude. But dang, those writers need to step their game up. Use the spell check, homies. Proofread your work.

Yeah I was assuming they meant "dormant" .. the original draft was probably missing the "n," and the spellcheck changed "dormat" to "doormat."

Big up to game for dissin 50...
I believe the whole thing in the beginning was a made up beef that backfired...
I think 50 came up with the idea to boost record sales and game agreed to it... but game did not know that 50 would OD like that and get his man shot... Think about it, even though they agreed to doing this, why would Game agree to havin someone say he aint nothin without him and he wrote most of his album... I think Game just thought they would have a fake beef without 50 goin so far..
So even though they had the phoney reconcillaition Game still had some annimosity...
and this all spilled over at summer jam
