yeah I was on/on the bus infront of one of the buses that blew up, I got off to walk and two minutes later I heard an explosion behind me.
puts life in perspective a little (and makes you appreciate the medicinal powers of whiskey- what doesn't kill you makes you stronger-London will never be cowered by this sort of bullshit.

Londoners' response seems to have been quite calm - remember, they are familiar with bomb attacks on their city from back in the IRA days, so are a bit more seasoned at responding to terrorist attacks, more so than New Yorkers. Put it this way, there have been more attacks of this nature on British soil than American. Just an observation.

Londoner's response was calm. you could argue insensitive. In my office (of 120 people), just 10 mins from the Euston blast, people were carrying on as normal even though we knew the full extent. someone even went as far as saying people died all over the world so what? hollywood effect. It'll probably have sunk in now. also read on Friday that hotels hiked up their prices for customers who couldnt leave the city. shameful

I honestly don't know the full story. There has been so much going on with my family and my like that I really haven't had the time to watch the news or read the paper. I've been reading up on what had happened though and I feel absolutely horrible. Maybe now, more people will realize that this is not just an attack on America, but an attack of Freedom and the people who appreciate it. We need to stick together to make us strong. God bless anyone and everyone affected by this tragedy.
