Hip-Hop Reacts to NOLA

Matt at Houstonsoreal has blessed us with a new track from K-Otix, "George Bush Don't Care":

  • explicit version
  • radio edit

Mos Def gets his shots in on Katrina Clap (thanks to Mirateck for the tip.)

And Davey D put a nice little mix together over here.

Y'all know of anything else I should add here?

Jay, I just posted about Mos and his new cut in my journal! He called it "Dollar Day" though, but "Katrina Klap" was the refrain. Either way, I think it's great. And I must give a shout to Common, who just screened his new video for the single "Testify" here in Chicago and donated 100 percent of the proceeds to the Black United Fund of Illinois, which is assisting more than 300 Katrina survivors who have relocated to the Chicago area.
