Yankees Making Johnny Damon Cut His Hair
like samson, but i go further the length
Mark my words, the Yankees will live to regret this. They have tampered with forces they cannot possibly understand, making the Son of Man shed his righteous locks. 85 years from now it is this moment our great-grandchildren will remember with dread, as the day a new curse began.

Yes, we learned this in the Bible. LOL!! A man's strength is in his hair.
I thought the Cincinnati Reds were the only team that had rules about facial hair--a dumb rule at that. If ever there was a place that long hair on men should be tolerated it is NY. My aging hippie father would be disgusted.

I just heard about that rule. Probably a good thing in this jerks case.

As A Yankee Fan.. I can honestly say.. I'm in disbelief.
This weirds me out, I fear anyone around the Yankees will be out of a job if this doesn't get a championship. On paper this team scares me. But we shall see what happens.

Aw, it's not so bad. He looks better this way... before he reminded me too much of the creepy white guy in Color Me Badd.
Might actually be a good thing. Steve Nash cut his hair and won the MVP. (Or as Ali G. would say, the MP3)

It's not what his hair looks like that matters. It's what getting it cut represents. How easily professional players sell out these days. I wish they could adopt the attitude of decades back...a player's dream was to stay with one time for their career. There was loyalty and pride in the team they played for. Now, it's all about money and who can buy you for more. And when $$ shine, just just screw your fans and loyalty to your team. Makes me want to forget following professional sports and stick with college.

Don't be so pessimistic jsmooth, it’s all good, you'll be rejoicing in the fall. It's not about the length of someone’s hair that matters (unless it is a mullet), it's the value & durability of the player(s) that will help decide the Yankees fate. Damon, along with all the other over-nourished Yankee all-stars, will wreak havoc on the Al East. Barring injuries the Yankees will be a serious contender at seasons end.

It's a great sin indeed that this hunk of a man should sink to this! But whose fault is it? The Red Sox for being to darn cheap to keep him, the Yanks for buying him, or Damon for selling out. If ya think about it, with just the switch of one vowel in his name "A" to "E" he'd become Johnny Demon! Maybe that's who he is now, clean shaven Johnny Demon of the Yankess.
