"Cats say 'Murray you'd go good with G-Unit
But since you smacked P, 50 might not do it...'"

A couple of weeks ago Keith Murray came by our radio show, and did some of that rapping stuff he likes to do, He also revealed a few possible titles he's mulling over for his upcoming album, including my favorite "A-rap-maphobia":

I agree ... Keith Murray is one of the most creative and fearless lyrasist (i don't know if i spelled that right and i don't care) that I have ever heard.

This is coming from someone who has been listening to rap/hip-hop continuously since 1978. I have never abanondoned rap/hip-hop through all of these years and I never will.

In fact Keith Murray put down on of the most prolific lines in lyrical history as far as I am concerned.

It was on a mix tape but I don't remember which one.

It was right before he went to jail.

He said something like ... "it makes you feel good like cryin"

This statement is poetic and should be recited as are the versus of Walt Witman and all of the GREAT American poets.

If you don't understand the simile in this statement then you don't understand rap/hip-hop lyricism at it's best.

Or you have never had a good cry which made you feel good afterward.

Either way you are a sucka.

Worve 'em up, Cold Blooded.

It took me a while to discover it and then my brother put me on. But if you think about it Keef Murray is more like the stepdad, fahver or even uncle to Canibis sick style.

I have a strong opinion on the way guys are rhyming these days and to hear Keef totally independent of that made me proud.

I'm copping the album and in this drought, I'm going back to get his old shit.

Later on I'll expose the new rhyme pattern every is using.

I havent hear the freestyle on the show but now that i know that the keith-myster is soon dropping i will be awaiting his album with great anticipation. In this dark hip pop era where biting and wackness is of the ordinary. Infact, the only aspect of it that remains true is Graffiti. It will truly be music to my ears hearing keith rockin over an E-double banga...its the most beautifullest thing.

If you listened to the heat he brought on the top of the page, there's really nothing to say, the flow speaks for itself.HEAT
