MIA and Timbaland in the Studio

Nothing earth-shattering, but I'm a sucker for behind-the-scenes producer footage. Watching Timbo sit down to casually tinker with his drum sounds still gives me goosebumps.

Oh man I love this stuff. I remember when Prince was on Oprah, the only part I gave a damn about was the 10 seconds of him at a console... could watch that all day.

Word, once on Entertainment Tonight they showed about 4 seconds of Prince recording a bassline for "Partyman," I had that clip in regular rotation for weeks.

But what's good with Timbo supposedly jacking beats from the guys that did Commodore 64 production. He apparently lifted an entire beat from the 80's for Nelly Furtado's new album.
