NBC News correspondent Ann Curry has landed the first interview with Nadya Suleman, the alleged baby fanatic who gave birth to octuplets in Bellflower, California last week.

Nadya was discharged from the hospital early Thursday morning.

“She left early this morning,” says Socorro Serrano, spokesperson for the Bellflower Medical Center. “It will be a while until the babies can go home. They cannot leave the hospital until the octuplets are near normal newborn weight.”

The NBC interview will take place at an undisclosed time at an undisclosed location, says Michael Furtney, publicist for Nadya Suleman. Michael would not discuss whether or not his client is being paid to tell her story.

“That’s between her and NBC.” [I'll take that as a yes.]

NBC officials confirmed that Ann Curry is doing the interview but denied that they are paying Nadya Suleman.

Nadia Suleyman lives in Whittier, California with her parents and six children. The octuplets are still in the hospital, but are all listed in good condition.

The mother of 14 sits down with Ann Curry on Today and Dateline next week.

I wish nadia the best of luck and I think it's awesome that she thinks is that way and I think that everyone that's talking bad about her and her family should just shut up and worry about themselves.she is doing a good job as a single mother and as long as you have family that's all that matters

ok, kelly. first of all her family are the only ppl taking care of those kids. have u seen her face before? she had plastic surgery. this woman deserves nothing, not money, not her fam, not publicity. lock her up and take those kids away

I don't think this woman has give birth to octuplets for any fame or publicity. I am wondering on these talks. Can a mother step forward for this dangerous situation only for money. I do not think and don’t agree with people who are talking like. My best wishes are for this brave woman.
