America has been wondering if Jon and Kate Plus 8’s special announcement promo video touting the Monday big show means divorce or separation. The answer is here, with the Monday night 1-hour special for June 22nd.

"Recently we made some life-changing decisions," says Kate Gosselin in a voiceover for the promo, "decisions affecting every member of our family, ones that we hope will bring each of us some peace." Said Jon and Kate about their announcement.

Jon & Kate followers haven't heard the last of this highly publicized couple and their brood of children. TLC has been running promos teasing an announcement during Monday's show.

Promos for Monday's one-hour special feature captions such as "A Family in Turmoil," "A Relationship at a Crossroads," "Where do they go from here?" and "Jon and Kate have an announcement."

What will the announcement be? Are they getting a divorce? Will the eight children be shuttled between two households? Is the show coming to an end? Or is it just another shameless ploy to boost ratings and sucker a few more unsuspecting people into watching the show?
