Sex Sting on Goldman Sachs Lawyer

Chris Hanson Pictures, Images and Photos

Okay this is just gross. Goldman Sachs Lawyer Todd Genger, who lives in Manhattan, with his wife and kids, just got busted, "Catch a Predator" style, trying to solicit sex online from a 15 year old. If these alleged acts are true, sick is the only word.

"A lawyer for Wall Street powerhouse Goldman Sachs was caught in a sting operation aimed at perverts who solicit young girls for sex, officials said Tuesday. Todd Genger, 33, is accused of trying to lure an underage teen with explicit chat on the Internet and then traveling to Westchester to consummate the cyber-affair..."

I'm sure he passed himself off as a self rightous guy with his nose in the air. I'm better than you attitude. Well guess what, he's worse than 97.7% of most people in this country. His high life just ended, the other victims are his wife and children who should leave before they are exposed to the ridicule of their former friends.

He's not the first lawyer, and won't be the last. But one would think that being an attorney, he would understand the serious repercussions of ever getting caught. But being an obviously sick individual, I guess his dumb ass didn't care. Not to mention jeopardizing his reputation and hurting his family. I hope his wife divorces his ass.

Ah, we need to wait a few before we get the rope...what if he's pals with Barack? If he is then he'll get off just like the idiot Professor Gates. Remember the rules:
----Liberals good, conservatives bad
Barack good, Bush bad
Democrats good, Republicans bad
Perversion good, morality bad
Atheists good, Christians bad
Black militants good, white cops bad

Now that we understand the rules we can analyze the lawyer's perversion case...

LOL... What do atheists have to do with any of this Bob??? Actually, Atheists are good, because you certainly aren't going to see them imposing their beliefs on anyone anytime soon... (or martyring themselves, or killing doctors at abortion clinics, or starting holly wars, or drinking the cool aid, etc, etc, etc)

Lawyers also commit heinous crimes, but they are also innocent till proven guilty, some one who hates him could have set him up with the help of the police dept. its called entrapment.

Bob Allan - You be sure to watch "Faux" news this morning. Your buddy Beck will give you words to live by...and please, help Rush find Obama's birth certificate. You guys lost...so keep making up lies. Rove will assist you.

Posted by: Phil at July 30, 2009 7:28 AM

BOb Allan- You sound as sick as that lawyer...maybe you're pals of him.

Posted by: rose at July 30, 2009 7:48 AM

Now let's see if I got this right, Bob. Newt Gingrinch had an affair for several years. Jim & Tammy Faye, and all of the other self righteous people who set themselves up as better than others. As an Independent I think it is all so stupid and funny. "GO LOU DOBBS"!!!!!!

I see people hurling comments at Bob Allan but no one is saying he is wrong and proving it.

Find out why Goldman Sachs pays NO TAXES... I thought BO was going to make corporate America pay their fair share.. Another politician listened to and now to find out... votes were waisted..

Athiests are all good until Christ returns.. then all the false religions and athiests will bow the knee and then unfortunately learn the error of their ways.. repent now while you still can..

Posted by: Matt at July 30, 2009 11:29 AM

You guys are so stupid. Stick to the headlines and quit making comments on things that you do not know.

Posted by: karon at July 30, 2009 11:45 AM

Lol...Bob, Bob, Bob...sounds like you are Bobbing on Rush's knob buddy. You sound ridiculous! Prof Gates has nothing to do with this. You are like a woman that changes the subject when she is wrong.
Btw...you have something dripping on your lip.

C'mon dude the entire world loves the OBAMA administration. The entire world hated BUSH and his cohorts.

Thank you for these new rules b/c the old rules that we were living by (ie white cops shooting black men in the back 30x's for reaching for his wallet. Or shooting them the night before their wedding.) were crap.

Black militants haven't terrorized anything except for white people's minds. Maybe they should pick up random white men, tie them up, and drag them up and down MLK in their caddies. Or burn Black fists on white peoples lawns. How about them apples. What if black cops started randomly stopping white drivers for no reason. OUTRAGE in the streets!! OMG...

Seriously, get your head out of your arse dude. At least get some balls and speak these things in a public forum. Why ruffle feathers for no reason? Stick to the freakin point and learn more so you wont be so ignorant.

Btw that lawyer should be thrown under the jail. Take away all of his money and remove him from the bar. Lets do him like Mike Vick.

Christians can believe whatever they want and so can everyone else. I am tired of ‘Christians’ wrapping themselves in the flag and self-righteous piety whenever they want to infringe on the rights of everyone else. This is America and they can forget that nonsense, it won’t work.

Gee...Bob Allen how sad you need to use this platform of adults inflicting their ill will on minors to get your political views across. How unfortunate.

Posted by: Anonymous at July 30, 2009 2:31 PM

This is not the first time Goldman Sachs has had slimy staff in high places. A while back they had a head of Security that used to engage in sexual acts while on duty.

WHAT DID THE BLACK PROF GET AWAY WITH, HAVING THE BALLS TO STAND UP TO SOMEONE FOR ACCUSING HIM OF BREAKING INTO HIS OWN HOME?? BEING CARTED OFF TO JAIL LIKE A COMMON THIEF. THE PROFESSOR BETTER SUE THE SHIT OUT OF THAT COP, NO MATTER WHAT OBAMA SAYS. THE COP WAS WRONG, THE PROFESSOR DIDNT TOUCH HIM, DIDNT HAVE A WEAPON OTHER THAN HIS MIND.

Bottom line, Liberals haven't a clue.If they knew anything about world history, they would join us RIGHT thinkers!

Posted by: DC at July 30, 2009 6:54 PM

What is sad is we have a black president now, and blacks still say whites are pred. This was the most racist campaign around, every black person voted for him because he is black, not because of who he is. What is sadder is blacks still play the race card, get over what happened over hundreds of years ago, we are in a new era.

Posted by: A woman here at July 30, 2009 7:32 PM

people...who cares about all this clap trap flying out of your finger tips? The issue here is that this puke of a man tried to solicit sex, online, from a 15 year old. He should be casterated. Race, religion or political party be damned. He is a maggot. End of discussion.

Posted by: WTH at July 30, 2009 7:47 PM

Well kids, dont count your chickens before they hatch. It's wrong, i know. BUT...

This same thing will happen to you sometime in your life in one way or another. It's called enantiodromia...

and if your that far to one side of the equation, you cant stop the swing. it WILL happen. man or woman.

Posted by: RA Phelps at July 30, 2009 8:07 PM

Well Me.. u stated that atheists don't push their views on anyone? Y is it that all the religious holidays the Christians want to celebrate publicly can't be celebrated anymore because they "offend" some atheists? Just because they don't happen to believe in it and don't celebrate the holiday, no one else can either. Sure sounds like they are imposing their will to me.

I'm not a practicing Christian so don't dismiss this with whatever BS rationalization u were going to come up but fair is fair. If u don't celebrate something then just ignore it and leave instead of punishing those that do.

@ "A woman here": I take offense at that gross generalization, I didn't vote for Obama because of his race I voted because the republican party picked the recently resigned governor from Alaska and I didn't think she could handle being president. I also felt the likelyhood of it happening given McCain's age was high (in a PC world I guess that could be considered age discrimination). I don't like a lot of Obama's ideas but I also dislike extremists and Palin's views made Bush seem like a moderate. She was represented poorly, her actual qualifications were not talked about as much as they have been after the election, and as we can all see now, she doesn't like negative attention on her family (understandable) which she may still have gotten as vp and where would we be then with her saying I can't take it.

In short, maybe some black people voted purely for race reasons (like that's never happened in politics before by any other ethnicity) but to generalize it like that shows a lack of respect and that you yourself may have tendencies to do the same thing you accuse people of on some level.

I can infer from your comments that you are some ethnicity that is not black so I can easily make offensive generalizations, but the fact is there is still racism from every race to every other race, it's not something white people have a corner on the market for, I work and play with people fron all ethnicities so I know that if they'd get over themselves or could get past the hatred of generations before them, then it is possible to see people as people.

Okay, now that my off topic rant is over, I don't think this guy will do time because he's a high powered attorney most likely with a lot of other peoples skeletons hidden away in his closet. A bit of pressure and somehow it'll be a mishandled trial or something like that and the state will deem it too expensive to retry convicting him. Even if he is convicted it's likely that a white collar prison awaits. I do agree that his career there is over, but if he's not convicted he can't be disbarred over alleged conduct I don't think (I'm not an attorney so take my opinion as just that). This being said, we do not know the whole story, just the part that has been released in the media thus far, and maybe there's some funky explanation like "Officer I was trying to do a reverse sting so I could teach these little horndogs to keep it in their pants" or "They said they wanted to see my legal briefs so I was gonna show em... I thought they wanted to practice law someday?"

Okay, maybe not.

@Mike- I'm not atheist but I think you're misrepresenting what's happened. Other religious beliefs which differ from mainline Christianity, not just atheists have moved to have this happen. Why should people of any religion be required to say prayers in school to a Christian god if they are not Christian. Why should government which is seperated from religion by the very foundation of the government (Constitution) be allowed to give preferential treatment to one set of beliefs (ie cross/Star of David symbols on publicly owned land? I don't think the government steps into private affairs and to that end if you own your own business and want to put a 200 ft tall religious symbol on the side of your building to show pride in your beliefs, then go for it. But people should not be made to feel that what they believe in is any less valid just because you believe it is. It's "Faith" because you can't prove it to be true. If you could do more than just believe it with your heart/mind/soul/whatever, it would be called "Fact" and everyone (with the exception of maybe Akmedinijad would take it to be fact.

Oh, and Bob Allan at 6:28 am, you may not be a pedophile, but you, too, are a monumental douchebag tool-- for different reasons, to be sure, but still. I'll bet you're a "Birther", too, aren't you? Yeah, you know you are. Please go stick your head in an oven, 'k?
