T.J. Houshmandzadeh Boycotting Madden

Photobucket Pictures, Images and Photos

Really? Is this story for real? Even in the sports world, you know it must be a slow news day when journalists are actually reporting about a player who said he's not going to play a video game anymore. At first when I read the headlines I thought Houshmandzadeh must be telling Madden they can't use his name in the game, but it turns out he's just refusing to play the game, because he thinks they got his player stats wrong. A little ego-mad perhaps, but I doubt he was even totally serious about it. More power to Housh, I say!

Here is his exact quote: ""I understand I averaged 10 yards a catch, but it's the offense, not me. I'm not playing Madden no more until they get my rating right. ... I used to be the best in the world at Madden. I'm going to miss not playing it, but until they do me right, I'm not playing it any more."

"...He's a 91! What did he want to be, a 114? Does he insist that little polygonal T.J. Houshmandzadeh be bathed in a warming, angelic glow of pure white light at all times? It's a 91, man. I hope I'm not shattering any illusions when I suggest that T.J. Houshmandzadeh should be pretty happy with a 91. As for EA Sports, I don't know how they're going to cope. A player who likely got the game for free anyway now refuses to play. I hope the company is able to rebound from the setback."

All T J has to do is go out this year and have his stats match his ego and the next game will be different.

What a whimp. Go away and stay. Some you idiot atheletes are absurd. Playing a game and not growing up. You are suppose to be a man for pete sake. Make ya sick just thinking about someone with that type of stature and how his actions will no doubt affect the children of our up and coming society. Things like this make me feel sorry that these individuals even get the opportunity to play professional sports. Its just not the NFL either. They are getting them. Mommy and Daddy must of wiped their butts too. Big whimps, babies. Damn, grow the heck up.

This story pisses me off... He is the biggest baby I've ever seen. He gets paid to play football, millions of dollars a year. And he has is made and he is being a.......man whore about being a 91 in Madden!?!? If you ask me he doesn't even deserve a 91, what a peice of shit!! He needs to grow up.

It's makes me wonder why Luigi never boycotted Nintendo for Super Mario Brothers. He was player number two after all.

TJ (Who)-shemandzadeh. Sorry TJ there's at least a half dozen veterans better than you and the same amount of rising superstars as well. If you could only learn to shut up and put up, you'd be among those 12 best.
