When I was on the DMZ in 84 the U. S. would'nt let short soldiers visit the site. Or flag had to be taller and bigger than theirs anything to show them they were inferior to the U. S. forces. It must be working.

back in 84 huh... things have changed and i dont think the intimidation factor worked... he still shot up missles when told not to... intimidated my ass... they got a plan with the u.s. to make MONEY! everybody gets money everybody is happy everybody is peaceful.

From what I can recall, short soldiers could take the DMZ tour, but they couldn't be stationed on the DMZ. This would have been between 1973 and 1988, when I spent my time in the ROK.

by putting crumbs on their physical, cultural or social prowess does nothing to improve possibilities of better relationships...those are cheap shots and really make US media look chintzy.

Like always, american can only make fun other race or nationality by their physical appearance because they have nothing else better.
But they did not realize that not all american people are tall either. I've seen many short american people too. And short people have reason to live just as tall people. Only a looser that judge people by their appearance not their capability!
Although I have to aggree that Kim Jong Il is not a good guy.

I know a lot of American's with Little (dick) Man's complexes starving for attention because they never got any growing up. Now, they are in positions of power only for that. He does't "look" short. He IS short. Very short. He's about 4' 10" but he wants to be 6 10.
