McDonald's Dollar Menu Breakfast

After years of selling unhealthy lunch and dinner for a dollar a piece, McDonald's is now set to ruin people's health in the morning as well!

Word from McDonald's corporate is that they'll be expanding breakfast dollar menu items, with more stores adding the breakfast sandwiches and other goodies (or baddies depending ono your perspective) in selected cities.

To be fair, some of McDonald's breakfast items, like the original Egg McMuffin, are actually not so bad health-wise compared to their other food. So if you can't resist hitting Mickey D's, this breakfast menu might be the best way to go.

The company this week began selling several breakfast items at the dollar price point in Chicago and other cities, a McDonald's spokeswoman said. Items selling for a buck at a downtown McDonald's on Wednesday included a sausage McMuffin, a sausage biscuit and two hotcakes...

ruin people's health in the morning as well! NO ONE FORCES YOU TO EAT AT MCDONALDS. SO IF YOU ARE OVERWEIGHT THERE IS NO ONE TO BLAME BUT YOURSELF.

It's not ruining people's health.

The food at McDonald's is good- I like the French fries especially.
People are overweight because they eat too much fatty foods at home. We need fats in our diet in moderate amounts.

I've been overweight most of my 49 years and I have no one to blame but myself as there was no McDonalds where I'm from until I was 25 years of age and the nearest McDonalds was over 100 miles away. My son's however have been going to McDonalds all of their lives (22 and 21 years) and neither one are obese (the youngest is about 20 pounds over normal the older is normal weight). I mean come on people! It's about time people who are overweight start putting the blame where it belongs; with themselves. Also the fact that we live a much more sedentary lifestyle than our ancestors. After all when was the last time you walked 5 miles to school or town? Plowed the back 40 before breakfast? Chopped firewood, churned butter, milked the cows...need I go on?
