Drought and Poaching Kill 100 Elephants

A tragic story fro Kenya, where drought & poaching have now killed 100 of the region's legendary and endangered elephants.

The elephants have long been endangered by poachers who kill the elephants for their ivory tusks, and this practice is steadly rising despite efforts to restrict it. And now a terrible extended drought has compounded the problems for one of nature's grandest creatures.

The drought is not only affecting elephants either as well, as it is ruining crops, stifling tourism, and putting human lives in jeopardy as well. It is also leading to a worldwide shortage of tea, which is a major export from the region. Surely one of the most frustrating sorts of news stories, since at the end of the day you just have to hope that mother nature will br merciful, but in the meantime here's hoping we human beings will do all we can to provide help for the people and animals affected, instead of using it as an opportunity for greed.

Tragic, yet not surprising. This is just the tip of the iceberg as man's doings have continued to devastate any and everything he can for monetary gains. The day will come when the animals will rule again. Hunger will be no more and man will be the endangered species.....

I hope Africa's and everywhere's wildlife centers get more support and money to help the animals survive. Everyone needs water and food, looks like they have given that to them well some of them, but all poachers need to be poached and get there nose and eyeballs ripped out of there faces and I wish them all to die in pain and misery and suffer badly. I and 86% of the world love animals and care for them very much I just wish I could do something to help, but unfortunatly I really can't I'm to young. When I get older I will help and save animals, and then animals will rule the world!!! God Please bless all the animals and wish them a good life and have a great amount of rain ,green grass, and nice tall trees. to much on and a wide amount of food and absolutely no hunting or poauching. If poached again put hexses on all of there souls. Hopefully there will be more droughts.
