Drugstores to Start Giving Free Flu Shots

With all the hype around the swine flu this year, drugstores are expecting a big rush on their usual free flu shots, so they're going to start offering the customary free flu shots earlier than usual..in fact they start today, to be exact.

Major drugstores like CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid are all stepping up their flfu shot game, in advance of increased demand everyone is expecting thanks to the bad news about H1N1 as it continues to spread.

The government experts recommend any one who is elderly, a child or otherwise has a weakk immune system, should go in and get the free flu shot. Hopefully I can convince Walgreens to throw in some free Snuggies and a Slap-Chop.

Drugstore operators are beginning their seasonal flu shot campaigns several weeks early this year, saying they expect greater demand for the vaccine in a year when the swine flu strain has dominated the news...

I was in Walgreen's yesterday picking up a prescription and their flu shots were NOT FREE. They are charging $24.99 per shot. I remember the days when you only had to pay $5.00. Times have certainly changed. STAY HEALTHY YA'LL !!!!

I HATE WALGREENS. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED MORE RUDELY THAN AT A WALGREENS IN GULF SHORES, AL. I DON'T EXPECT ANYTHING HELPFUL FROM THEM

I contacted CVS and they know nothing about free flu shots. You should get your facts correct before causing such a big problem for the companies.

I contacted the local Walgreen's this morning and was told they knew nothing about a free flu shot for the unemployed. It seems there are no CVS in the area who are savvy either. What gives?

Same results here, the workers in the stores know nothing. Corporate must be the problem. They came up with this great idea and bragged about it before getting a system and process in place, or even telling their staff at stores about the plan.
This is why corporate types in their suits get bad reputations. All talk, no action or follow up. It's all hot air with no substance behind it.
