Cole Hamels Wife in Labor!

Phillies pitcher Cole Hamels got quite a shock kin the middle of the game, as he walked off the mound to the news that his wife was in labor!

Hamels' wife sent a text message to the team's manager, saying that she was in labor and to please tell Cole after he was done pitching. Luckily the team was apparently ready to take him out of the game anyway, so they pinch hit fofr him in the next inning and immediately broke the news, after which he darted upstairs out of the dugout and slid headfirst into the maternity ward! Best of luck to Cole and his wife on a happy and healthy newborn!
