Curry Compound Kills Cancer Cells? (VIDEO)


Scientists believe they may have proof that a curry compound kills cancer cells.

The compound, found in the curry ingredient turmeric, is showing signs it might help fight esophageal cancer (cancer of the esophagus). Doctors and researchers who treat cancer have been looking at the chemical, called curcumin, for a long time, after studies showed lower cancer rates in people who eat a lot of curry, and it appears curcumin has a short-term effect of making cells dispose of themselves.

As seen in the video below, proponents of herbal medicine and alternative medicine/alternative treatments have long promoted turmeric as an effective treatment for many issues, including arthritis, bronchitis and cancer. Hopefully this study from mainstream researchers will help us develop better cancer treatments!
