Dodgers Husband Fires Wife


Dodgers owner Frank McCourt will be hearing from his wife Jamie's lawyers soon, which is what you'd expect to happen after the Dodgers husband fires his wife.

His wife, from whom he is estranged currently and who is also part owner of the franchise, had been the chief executive of the baseball team until being abruptly terminated by her erstwhile spouse. Jamie's attorney kept it short and sweet: "Jamie is disappointed and saddened by her termination. As co-owner of the Dodgers, she will address this and all other issues in the courtroom." To bad we dont all have the power to hire and fire wives who serve at or pleasure, like any other civil service position.

Typical male overreaction. If he'd had a brain he would have let it get sorted out in court. No he has to go in like a Neanderthal & 'I HAVE THE POWER'. Guess he doesn't know about Federal labor laws. If he doesn't have just cause he has just committed a federal crime and he could lose the whole shebang if the wife has a lawyer with half a brain!
