Heene Family Lawyer (VIDEO)

It's been less than a week since we were introduced to the sad world of the Heene family, though it already seems like an eternity, and now we are meeting a new player: the Heene family lawyer.

As seen in the video below, their attorney David Lane is trying his best to muster up sympathy for the Heene family as they prepare to face serious legal consequences for the waste of government resources and the public's time, with their "balloon boy" fraud and arguable child abuse. Numerous felony charges are expected, and Richard Heene is going to wish he some more boxes in the attic, with a bunch of lawyers in them for extra legal assistance.

The family lawyer is adamant about them not being arrested in some sort of media circus, though this seems like it'd only be redundant, and says the Heene family feels like it is "under siege",though there is of course no one but themselves to blame for that. See the video of the Heene's family lawyer below:

"The whole Heene family feels that they are in fact under siege at this point," David Lane, the family's lawyer, said Monday. Criminal charges were reportedly in the works on Monday for Richard and Mayumi Heene following an alleged hoax last week involving their son and a runaway helium balloon...

Those parents have set a very negative example for their children, i. e lying, betraying peoples concern for the 6 year old boy, etc. It seems today people will do anything for money or to get on television - Jon and Kate, Plus 8; Octomom; the Heene family, for examples. Time will only tell how much damage has been done to these children only for the sake of being on television.

The kid was hiding in the attic. The family can compensate the law enforcers for the costs of recovering the balloon. But leave the husband, wife, and kids alone. There is no need to try and destroy such a loving family.

I am discusted by how the sherrif started to talk about the education level of the husband. It has no bearing whatsoever on this case. Neither do the 2 911 calls from 10-15 years ago in which the phone was immediately closed after accidentally dialing the numbers.

The sherrif is desperate for making the most of the media and perhaps himself being on a reality show!
