Apparently he thought it was funny, but Tennesee Titans fans may not have been amused to see their head coach Jeff Fisher in a Peyton Manning jersey this week.

Jeff Fisher attended an event honoring the great Colts coach Tony Dungy, and arrived sporting a Colts Peyton Manning jersey, saying he wanted to know how it felt to be representing a winner for once.

A little humor is all well and good, even if NFL football is now known as the "No Fun League" (and they're always happy for an excuse to promote throwback jerseys), so I don't think this is a big deal really. But then again, if I was a fan of his team I'd want to know that he's mad about losing, not taking it as a joke. Players get chewed out by their coached all the time for laughing on the sidelines while their team is in the middle of losing a game, so maybe it's fair for titans fans to be a little irked by this too.

Titans coach Jeff Fisher surprised coach Tony Dungy by wearing a Colts Peyton Manning jersey today. Fisher, who received a standing ovation as he took the stage, introduced Dungy during the Rally for Rocketown at Lipscomb University. The Manning jersey was hidden, and revealing it, he joked: "I just wanted to feel like a winner...."
