Sotomayor; Forgot to Turn on Her Microphone

Sonia Sotomayor is getting started with her first term on the Supreme Court, and so far she seems more than capable of playing in the big leagues. But there has been one weak point she may need to work on: remembering to turn on her microphone!

Several times during her first appearances with the court, she forgot to turn her microphone on before answering questions, and had to start over and answer again after switching it on. But hey, if this is the biggest problem she has i nher first term, I'd say that's a pretty good track record! More more details on her debut in the court, see the article linked below:

Sotomayor, who was confirmed as the replacement for retired Justice David Souter during the summer, jumped into the questioning early and often. The newest justice peppered the arguing lawyers with as many questions as her eight more experienced colleagues, although a couple of times she forgot to turn her microphone on and had to repeat her questions...

In addition to his extreme right-WING stance and embarrassingly stupid-sounding, "woe is me", "this is a LYNCHING" comment during his confirmation hearing, Thomas has left no doubt at this point that he is, and never was, QUALIFIED to become a Supreme Court justice. He has never uttered ONE WORD of questioning, or any argument, during the last three years on the bench. And, he has exhibited the same type of non-participation, non-thinking, empty-minded bump-on-the-log presence in his role pretty much since he first became a judge so long ago. He showed himself to be completely non-descript and un-spectacular during his confirmation hearing, and he has lived up to this image ever since.

He dared talk about a "lynching"....as if he would have cared if any Blacks were ever lynched. This SUPREME UNCLE TOM deserves to be taken off the bench and disbarred, for his treatment of Anita Hill way back. And head of the EEOC, of all organizations. He was a pig then, and he is proving himself to be a completely empty suit and bigger pig now, wasting a whole seat on the Supreme Court with utter non-action, except obligatorily voting Conservatively ever damn minute. '

The best thing for the bench would be for him to die of an early heart attack, along with Scalia and Roberts.

It has always seemed apparent that Justice Thomas was deeply scarred emotionally by some event or events in his life that left him merly a shell, a puppet if you will, that is unfortunate. A heart attack is not what is needed, a heart to heart with God and/or a psychologist would greatly benefit Thomas and the nation.
