More drama in hip-hop's high profile divorce, as rapper Nas seeks to block spousal support to his wife Kelis, who is seeking large sums of money as well as sole custody of their newborn child.

Kelis and Nas made big news with their start studded marriage, then even bigger news when they went into divorce court with their divorce lawyers right as their child was being born. Kelis came out with a judge's order for Nas to give over $40,000 a month in spousal support, and she is seeking an even higher total figure over $70,000. But Nas is trying to avoid this fate, and his attorneys are seeking to block her from taking the support, and he's also vying for joint custody of the kid. One hopes that in the long run they can resolve this marriage/divorce drama, if only for the sake of the kid.
