Predicting PTSD (VIDEO)

As debate continues over whether PTSD caused the horrible Fort Hood shootings, one military experiment is aiming to understand why PTSD happens, and come up with a formula for predicting PTSD

PTSD, or post-traumatic stress disorder, affects thousands of individuals who have suffered some sort of serious psycholofigical/mental trauma, which is most often veterans of a war but can also involve violent crime victims, those who suffered serious accidents and other trauma. It is a debilitating mentall illness that can permanently alter someone's mental health and affect the rest of their lives, especially if not identified and properly treated.

Hopefully this experiment can shed a little more light on how to give help to PTSD sufferers, and maybe in the long run lead to having less trauma in the world.
