White House Party Crashers (VIDEO)


The White House party crashers who snuck into Obama's gala dinner, were hoping for reality show stardom, but now they may face a less desirable form of attention, from law enforcement.

The couple was being filmed by Bravo, apparently for a planned Real Housewives on Washington DC show, but with all the negative attention around this stunt they may hve put their fame-for-no-reason aspirations in jeopardy. Will Bravo want to be associated with this story that has inspired so much anger? There seems to be more interest in seeing the White House crashers face criminal charges then there is in seeing them on TV. And they are already being called before Congress to testify and explain themselves.

The Secret Service clearly has a lot to answer for in the this party crashing episode, and some say the White House fumbled by not having their social secretary there to confirm names on the guest list. Either way, this will put the "all publicity is good publicity" rule to the test, both for the White House and these now infamous crashers.

Crashing the party at the White House earned Tareq and Michaela Salahi an invitation to Congress today.

The couple has been called to testify at the House Committee on Homeland Security Thursday along with representatives of the Secret Service.
