Beyoncé and Jay-Z never made a big deal out of their marriage, but they get lots of attentiong now for their unusual name change! Both Beyonce AND Jay-Z are keeping Beyonce's maiden name in their full name, as Beyonce becomes Beyonce Knowles Carter, and Jay-Z AKA Shawn Carter becomes Shawn Knowles Carter.

Jay-Z is making the admirable move so that he can help keep the Knowles family name alive, as their own family looks like it will have no sons to carry it on. And now that Beyonce's parents have split, it looks like the family name has no chance to continue, if it wasn't for Sean Carter adopting it. Quite a liberated and forward thinking gesture from the superstar rapper! I'm impressed. I bet this is one marriage that is made to last, for sure. As long as Jay Hova never hangs out with Tiger Woods.
