Brittany Murphy Death: Natural Causes

Despite much speculation about possible drug abuse and other issues, the coroner is so far insisting that the tragic death of Brittany Murphy was due to natural causes, and not foul play.

Brittany was found dead in the home she shared with her husband, and many had been wondering for years about her health due to her extreme weight loss at times, and widespread rumors of drug use and other problems. But she and her husband had always denied that there were any health, eating disorder or addiction issues, and that she was doing fine.

Initial reports say that Brittany Murphy died of heart failure, and apparently heart problems did run in her family, so it is recommended so far that nobody jumps to conclusions yet. And no matter what happened it is truly a tragedy, and the loss of a talented woman much too soon.

My prayers go out to her family and loved ones.
Im not one to idolize or be in awe of celebrities but I always found her very likable in her characters and very funny. I have a feeling she was that way in her real life. Im sorry for your loss.

Sad and tragic. Made even more tragic by the over-speculation that a 32 yr. old "had to be on drugs/anorexic..." I lost a wonderful friend, Lisa, at age 32. Very healthy, drug free, 2 & 8 yr. old sons, suddenly dropped dead in her kitchen while cooking breakfast. Her heart had simply skipped a beat and never re-started. Same with my 44 year old brother-in-law. Both were healthy, in their prime, occasional drinkers, no drugs, no anorexia or anything else.

Very sad indeed, and I thank Gretchen for pointing out the overspeculations of drug use. This is a time for her family and friends to remember the good times they had and the love they shared. They should not have to listed to the media and read news articles about how Brittany was a drug addicted, pill popping woman. From the bottom of our hearts, rest in peace.
