Conan O'Brien: Seinfeld Replacing Him?

Could Jerry Seinfeld be getting ready to replace Conon O'Brien as the host of the Tonight show, as it continues to plummet in the ratings?

Conan looked to be the big winner when Jay Leno left the Tonight Show and O'Brien was tapped to replace him, but after Leno returned to rock at 10PM, and Conan had trouble adjusting to the new slot with its older more conservative audience, he had trouble finding his footing, especially against a David Letterman at the top of his game even amidst his own scandals. I was always a fan of Conan but I think his best days may be behind him. A shame for him to go out this way, though. On the other hand, I'm kinda psyched about Seinfeld possibly coming in.

Conan O'Brien: Seinfeld Replacing Him?

Conan O'Brien's ratings have been slipping in recent months so badly that NBC is reportedly looking for a replacement! Popeater reports that network executives have begun informal talks to find a new late night funny man for the time slot. A source says, "NBC just can't carry on like this. I was never able to stay awake late enough to watch the Tonight show, but if Jerry Seinfield becomes the host, I will make sure I am awake to watch the show each and every night. Jerry Seinfeld would be an awesome host for the show.

Conan is not funny
, but stupid and boring.Laughs more about his jokes, than the viewers.
Seinfeld will be a great choice and worth staying up for.

The Seinfeld re-=runs used to be on @ 7:30, and 11:30...If Jerry comes back @ 11:30 as host it would certainly be a boost and welcomed MC. To see Jerry live every night would be refreshing.

I agree Jerry would be a Shoe-In to replace Conan. His comedy is to me one sided as if it's his own private "Joke"--not.. Jerry is Fresh and brings you right along with him. Good Luck Jerry! Conan we wish you well. KittyKats2
