Missing Utah Mom: What's The Truth?

The mysterious case of the missing mom in Utah continues to vex friends family and police officers investigating the case, in which the mother and wife supposedly disappeared over the weekend, after the father took his kids out on some sort of camping trip that began in the middle of the night.

The father supposedly left the mother at home and took his one and four year old sons on a "camping trip" that began in the middle of the night, in freezing cold temperatures. He did not return with the kids until Tuesday, going missing from his own job just as the mother was reported missing after not showing up for her job. There has been no other trace of her since then and no explanation for why she might have disappeared.

I'm not even going to bother spelling out what everybody is thinking... about the husband.. and his story seeming hard to believe.. and will instead just hope against hope that there's another explanation and she will turn up safe and sound.

The case of a missing Utah stockbroker who left her purse, cell phone and car at home several days ago has turned suspicious, police say. "It's still officially a missing person case, but it has become suspicious," West Valley City Police Capt. Tom McLachlan said. "The suspicious nature of this is that no one can tell us, or is (willing to tell) us her whereabouts, and she has not contacted us or anyone else we know about."
