Pot-laced Food: Denver Delights!

As medical marijuana continues to build up momentum, one outlet in Denver is raising the stakes, and offering gourmet dishes to those seeking pot-laced food for medicinal purposes.

The Ganja Gourmet restaurant sells "Panama Red Pizza", pot lasagna and a marijuana tapenade. It is one of a growing crop of medicinal marijuana outlets innovating better ways to cook pot-laced dishes. Medicinal marijuana continues to gain respect for the many health issues and illnesses it is believed to help with, including glaucoma, nausea, stress, chronic pain and many other conditions. Even though I do not partake of it, I am hoping that this spreads to other states, I see no reason for so many to be prevented from using this drug when the benefits seem pretty clear. And if some great fod can come out of it, maybe I'll have to try it one day!

Any slacker living over his parents' garage can make pot brownies. Gourmet chefs are taking the art of cooking with marijuana to a higher level. In Denver, a new medical-marijuana shop called Ganja Gourmet serves cannabis-infused specialties such as pizza, hummus and lasagna. Across town in the Mile-High City, a Caribbean restaurant plans to offer classes on how to make multi-course meals with pot in every dish....
