In today's Tiger Woods Can Consider Himself Lucky news, a woman in Louisiana was arrested for attacking her sleeping boyfriend by pouring a pan if burning hot grits on him.

The couple had gotten into an argument that evening, and after ending the fight by announcing he was breaking up with her he went to sleep. She then come up on him while he was sleeping and executed the hot grits attack.

Those who are my age or older may remember that te soul/gospel legend Al Green was the victim of a very similar attack long ago, where an angry/jealou lover burned him pretty badly with a pan of hot grits. It can cause serious injury and is nothing to laugh at, but hopefully there willbe full recovery from the burns with proper medical attention.

A 44-year-old woman was booked with second-degree battery after allegedly pouring a pot of boiling grits onto her sleeping boyfriend. St. Charles Parish sheriff's deputies said Carolyn Brown caused second-degree burns on the man's face and arms. The man told deputies that he came home from work on Nov. 7, got into an argument with Brown, told her that he was breaking up with her, then went to bed.
