Courtney Love Restraining Order News

Sad news about Courtney Love and her daughter, as a judge has ruled that he is extending the restraining order placed against Courtney Love that prevents her from any contact with her daughter Frances Bean.

Frances Bean Cobain, the 17 year old daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney, went to court and had her attorneys set up a restraining order blocking her mother from contacting her. Frances now lives with other relatives, and is hoping to keep her mother at bay legally until she turns 18 and has the right to choose when her mother contacts her. Frances and other relatives have not explained why Frances made this choice in family court but Courtney Love hinted on Facebook that her daughter is "not always honest" and "clearly deluded." A sad situation, but hopefully time and distance can bring some calm and mutual understanding in the long run.

Courtney Love is not getting any love from her daughter this Valentine's season. A judge has just extended the restraining order filed against the former Hole rocker, which means she must refrain from contacting daughter Frances Bean Cobain until April 9. In December, the 17-year-old rock royalty offspring asked the court to prohibit her mother from communicating in any way with her. Love was also stripped off of her legal custody. Frances is now under the guardianship of her late dad Kurt Cobain's mother and sister. By August, she will turn 18 and will be free to choose whether she wants to communicate with her mother or not.
