Pink: "No one ever has another excuse to lip sync!" (VIDEO)

Out of the many rocking performances in the 2010 Grammy awards, none was more thrilling than the high-flying performance from the superstar Pink, performing her hit "Glitter in the Air" as she was hanging high in the air in a feat huge enough to top any high-flying circus act. And she pulled off this entire death defying routine while singing flawlessly all along, hanging upside down!

Pink said she actually almost fell and made quite a scene at the end: "When I came out of the silk, I thought I was going to fall onto my nude butt," she said. "No one ever has another excuse to lip-sync..." But she pulled it off flawlessly, and did indeed show the music world what a real vocalist and true performer can do. Beyonce and even Lady Gaga both had solid performances as well, and ironically the Album of the Year winner Taylor Swift may have had the weakest showing of the night, barely holding a tune alongside Steve Nicks. I like Taylor, not trying to be mean, but this wasn't a great showing.

Pink confessed she almost took a tumble during her high-flying performance of "Glitter in the Air." The lights on the top of the Staples Center threw her off, she said backstage. "When I came out of the silk, I thought I was going to fall onto my nude butt," she said. "No one ever has another excuse to lip-sync..."
