Huma Mian: Suspect?

The wife of the alleged Times Square bomber has been identified, but is Huma Mian also a suspect in her husband's attempted terrorist act?

According to police not yet. Authorities say she is not currently considered a suspect, or believed to have any connection to her husband's attempted car-bombing. But they are apparently interested in finding out what other information or clues she may be able to provide.

MIan is said to have been active in Muslim student groups at her college, in Colorado, but this of course is not evidence that she was connected to radical fundamentalists who distort the Muslim religion. Her husband though, had now admitted to being connected to terrorist elements, and apparently confessed to planting the rather amateurish bomb found in Times Square on Saturday.

Huma Mian, the American wife of Times Square bomb suspect Faisal Shahzad, has not been called a suspect herself, but authorities clearly want to know if she knows anything about her Pakistani-born husband's alleged terrorist activities. According to CBS News Investigates, Mian is a U.S. citizen who grew up in Colorado and attended the University of Colorado in Boulder, where she graduated in 2004 with a degree in accounting.
