Matt Lauer is known for reporting on both politics and celebrity news, but now he's in the news for his own drama, as he steadfastly denies rumors of an affair, and says that although his marriage isn't perfect, he has not been cheating on his wife. But what is the truth?

According to latest rumors the woman he supposedly cheated with is named Alexis Houston, who is also purported to be the sister of pop singer (and also sometimes troubled star in the relationship department and elsewhere) Whitney Houston. But reports coming out now indicate that Alexis is no relation to Whitney, and doubt. Apparently the two met when Alexis came to the Today show with Dionne Warwick.

"Ms. Houston has never had any sort of relationship with Mr. Lauer and does not even recall meeting him." And Matt Lauer admits there have been problems with his marriage but denies any affair with Houston, and says he has not moved out and his wife and family are still with him.
