Paula Deen's Maid Robbery?

Paula Deen is is crying foul after her household maid allegedly pulled off a major robbery of Deen's home.

The woman, whose name is Mary Alice White, is 47 years old and has worked as a housekeeper for some time. Working for the famous TV chef and southern comfort food expert, she allegedly stole a bunch of Deen's jewelry and then attempted to pawn them at a pawn shop.

White was arrested after trying to pawn $18,000 earrings, at a pawn shop in Savannah Georgia.

Police say a housekeeper stole and tried to pawn thousands of dollars worth of jewelry belonging to Food Network star and celebrity chef Paula Deen. Savannah-Chatham police tell the Savannah Morning News they went to Deen's Wilmington Island home on May 3 on a report of about $100,000 worth of men's and women's jewelry that had vanished within the past year. Deen's husband Michael Anthony Groover told police the couple had caught housekeeper 47-year-old Mary Alice White with some jewelry and had fired her.
