Writer McGinniss & Palin Beef

As writer Joe McGinniss continues settling into his new home, right next door to his new neighbor Sarah Palin, the controversy continues about his ongoing work writing a book about her, and her accusations that he has using the home to spy on her.

Palin has even gone further than that, suggesting that the esteemed writer is a "stalker." But McGinniss denies anything of the sort is going on, and says he simply picked up a house that was available in the town, so he could keep researching. So he is quite offended by Palin's negative comments and accusations coming fom the former Governor.,

Says the writer, he is only here to interview other citizens of the town: "If I lived here and did something creepy, if I did what Sarah Palin is suggesting, that would be creepy, I'm not observing them at all. I don't care what they do in the privacy of their own home," he continued. "I'm here to talk to people who have known them for 40 years in Wasilla."

"Sarah Palin is understandably far from pleased that writer Joe McGinniss rented the house next door to her while authoring a book about the former governor. But stalking allegations? Really, Sarah? That's pretty low ... but from someone who demands straws that bend at speaking engagements, are you shocked? McGinniss said on the Today show this morning that despite accusations from the political lightning rod, he's not harassing them. Quite the opposite, in fact. McGinniss claims he got a good deal on a rental that happens to border the Palins' property, and would have taken it if 'Sarah Palin lived on the moon.'"
