Priest Found With Cocaine

A prominent priest busted with cocaine? That's just what happened this week when an Aymara priest was arrested with a huge amount of the drug, right after he was in the news for giving a ceremonial blessing to the Bolivian President Morales.

The drug enforcement authorities in Bolivia busted the priest with a shocking 530 pounds of the illegal and highly addictive drug that sends countless people to drug rehab. The priest claims he was tricked by some Colombians who were also arrested with him, and did not realize the drugs were present around him.

The cocaine was in the liquid form of the drug, as it often is when being transported. Said the Vice President: "He was a person who moved within the Andean religious structure. Whether he's a priest or not, if he's committed a crime, he won't get any kind of protection when he faces justice."
